While this study tracks times by studying “brands,” the information here can easily be applied to a church’s social media strategy.

Here’s the conclusion: to maximize your reach, try posting on the weekends and in the evenings when people are most likely to interact with your content. The exception here is email. People generally read their emails in the middle of the week and not on the weekends. So send out email campaigns on Wednesday or Thursday during business hours.

The one caveat I’d make to this slide is that each social media platform serves a different purpose and has a different user base. So be liberal with the interpretation in this slideshow. Post more frequently on Twitter, for example.
